Sideritis niveotomentosa Hub. -Mor. is a local endemic species belonging to the Lamiaceae family. In this study, GC/MS analysis, total antioxidant capacity and anticancer effects of different extracts obtained from S. niveotomentosa were investigated comparatively. Total phenolic contents of extracts were determined by the Folin–Ciocalteu method, total flavonoid contents by aluminum chloride method, and also the free radical scavenging activities of the extracts by DPPH (2,2-diphenyl-1-picryl-hydrazyl-hydrate) assay. The cytotoxic effect of the extracts was studied via MTT (3-(4,5-Dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-Diphenyltetrazolium Bromide) assay on DLD1, HL60 and ARH77 cell lines. Pro-apoptotic gene expression levels were also tested in the most sensitive cell line ARH77 by Real-Time PCR. The expression levels of 4 pro-apoptotic genes, APAF, BAX, CASP3, and HRK were found to be upregulated in ARH77 cells that were treated extracts. Results showed that methanolic extracts contain more phenolic content than acetone extracts, consistent with DPPH results. As a result, Sideritis niveotomentosa extracts, especially methanolic extracts, are rich in phenolic content and have a strong radical scavenging effect. In addition, the extracts showed selective effects on cell lines. This study is pioneering in terms of future studies, and the findings provide hope for future experimentation.  相似文献

This note describes an importance sampling (IS) algorithm to estimate buffer overflows of stable Jackson networks with a tree topology. Three new measures of service capacity and traffic in Jackson networks are introduced and the algorithm is defined in their terms. These measures are effective service rate, effective utilization and effective service-to-arrival ratio of a node. They depend on the nonempty/empty states of the queues of the network. For a node with a nonempty queue, the effective service rate equals the node’s nominal service rate. For a node i with an empty queue, it is either a weighted sum of the effective service rates of the nodes receiving traffic directly from node i, or the nominal service rate, whichever smaller. The effective utilization is the ratio of arrival rate to the effective service rate and the effective service-to-arrival ratio is its reciprocal. The rare overflow event of interest is the following: given that initially the network is empty, the system experiences a buffer overflow before returning to the empty state. Two types of buffer structures are considered: (1) a single system-wide buffer shared by all nodes, and (2) each node has its own fixed size buffer. The constructed IS algorithm is asymptotically optimal, i.e., the variance of the associated estimator decays exponentially in the buffer size at the maximum possible rate. This is proved using methods from (Dupuis et al. in Ann. Appl. Probab. 17(4):1306–1346, 2007), which are based on a limit Hamilton–Jacobi–Bellman equation and its boundary conditions and their smooth subsolutions. Numerical examples involving networks with as many as eight nodes are provided.  相似文献

Ten new α-diazo-β-oxoaldehydes were condensed with aniline, ammonia, hydroxylamine, and semicarbazide to yield new 4-acyl-(1-substituted)-1H-1,2,3-triazoles in moderate-to-good yields. We introduce a new weighted wavelet-like transform, generated by the Poisson integral and a “wavelet measure.” By making use of the relevant Calderón-type reproducing formula, we obtain an explicit inversion formula for the Flett potentials which are interpreted as negative fractional powers of the operator (E+Λ), where Λ=(−Δ)1/2, Δ is the Laplacian and E is the identity operator.  相似文献

In this study, an approximate method based on Bernoulli polynomials and collocation points has been presented to obtain the solution of higher order linear Fredholm integro-differential-difference equations with the mixed conditions. The method we have used consists of reducing the problem to a matrix equation which corresponds to a system of linear algebraic equations. The obtained matrix equation is based on the matrix forms of Bernoulli polynomials and their derivatives by means of collocations. The solutions are obtained as the truncated Bernoulli series which are defined in the interval [a,b]. To illustrate the method, it is applied to the initial and boundary values. Also error analysis and numerical examples are included to demonstrate the validity and applicability of the technique.  相似文献

This paper presents a numerical method for the approximate solution of mth-order linear delay difference equations with variable coefficients under the mixed conditions in terms of Laguerre polynomials. The aim of this article is to present an efficient numerical procedure for solving mth-order linear delay difference equations with variable coefficients. Our method depends mainly on a Laguerre series expansion approach. This method transforms linear delay difference equations and the given conditions into matrix equation which corresponds to a system of linear algebraic equation. The reliability and efficiency of the proposed scheme are demonstrated by some numerical experiments and performed on the computer algebraic system Maple.  相似文献

In this study, a practical matrix method is presented to find an approximate solution for high‐order linear Fredholm integro‐differential equations with piecewise intervals under the initial boundary conditions in terms of Taylor polynomials. The method converts the integro differential equation to a matrix equation, which corresponds to a system of linear algebraic equations. Simulating electron spin resonance (ESR) spectra directly from molecular dynamics simulations of a spin-labeled protein necessitates a large number (hundreds or thousands) of relatively long (hundreds of nanoseconds) trajectories. To meet this challenge, we explore the possibility of constructing accurate stochastic models of the spin label dynamics from atomistic trajectories. A systematic, two-step procedure, based on the probabilistic framework of hidden Markov models, is developed to build a discrete-time Markov chain process that faithfully captures the internal spin label dynamics on time scales longer than about 150 ps. The constructed Markov model is used both to gain insight into the long-lived conformations of the spin label and to generate the stochastic trajectories required for the simulation of ESR spectra. The methodology is illustrated with an application to the case of a spin-labeled poly alanine alpha helix in explicit solvent.  相似文献
